"Maitenes" Village

To get close to the birth of Maipo River, it is necessary to go up to the small village called Maitenes, there we find a post of Carabineros de Chile and some houses, it's a place of high land's unique beauty.

It is also a passing point for horse rides which adventure a travel through a short route that starts where the road ends at Maitenes and goes through the mountains to get to the slopes of the hills at this side of the highway called 5 Sur, just in front of Rancagua.
