"Las Vertientes" Village

It's a residential place which was founded in the year1941. It is 31 Km. far from Santiago and it was named after the springs (vertientes in Spanish) found in this part of the mountain range. The orchards and the country houses in which yards we find apricots, lemons and almond trees, are distinctive of this zone. Hundreds of families have decided to come to live at their country houses here because of the safety and beauty they offer being close enough from Santiago.

Here we find several hostels, cottages, swimming pools and places for tourism which have a good quality and service at very reasonable prices, there are also horses for rent to take a ride around.

A tip for those fond of craftsmanship is that here they find beautiful handmade pieces of quartz crystals.
