"Baños Morales" Hot Springs

Just 72 kilometers far from Santiago you will find "Baños Morales" hot springs; it has three swimming pools filled with thermal waters. There is a camping and several other lodging alternatives available, among them we find some bed & breakfast rooms, and also a mountain refuge. There are several means to get here, by a public transportation bus with departure from Bellavista de la Florida subway station, called "Metrobus", by a fast charter on tourism vans or by a rented car.

One of the swimming pools for adults is one meter and a half deep, the one for children is hardly 70 cm. deep and the third one is one meter and 70 cm. deep. All of them are rich in mineral salts and their temperatures are always above 25 Celsius degrees.

There are other spring water spouts nearby; just 4 Km. far from this place you will find "Fuentes de Panimavida".

From here you have a direct access to El Morado National Park, which is under CONAF's (Government Forests Office) administration, you can undertake an excursion by foot or at horse back during the day or even to spend some days camping there to know it and traverse it with more time.

Other attractions here are the horse rides you can take to traverse the surroundings, the goat herds you find grazing here at Spring and Summer seasons and many other country life and typical gastronomy alternatives available.
